Soccer U and The Soccer
Coach

We think soccer
coaches must realize something we have come to
understand fully. Understand this point and you will be a much
better soccer coach, soccer trainer and developer of great youth
players.
We as coaches can go
through some extensive training. Whether it is in the US or abroad,
coaching clinics and certifications are now done throughout the
world at all different levels.
Do you know something
interesting?
The majority of this
training involves every aspect of coaching except for one.
Raw technical skills.
During your training
you will learn many things.
-
First aid
-
Liability and legal
issues
-
Psychology and
player development levels
-
Dealing with
parents
-
How players learn
-
How to develop and
encourage players
-
Tactical aspects
(at higher levels)
-
How to run
efficient practices
-
Drills and games
-
and the list goes
on and on.....
Guess what we didn't
mention?
Raw technical skills, how to perform them, and how to teach them.
Many coaching programs
assume that when you reach a certain level of training and
certification you should understand or possess certain skills. This
is a vicious cycle that continues and continues. Since most players,
even at the advanced levels, do not receive true technical training
on ALL skills, how can they teach them?
All coaches at ALL
levels will benefit GREATLY from the SoccerU series. Learning the
raw and detailed skill training allows you to take your players,
step by step, through the learning process.
DO NOT make the mistake
of assuming that age equals skill. Some of our most appreciative
students are at the high school level. They are amazed when we take
them and show them the TRUE and raw skills, step by step.
A real quote from a
high school player that was getting ready to go play at college. He
had the opportunity to work with Coach V for 7 days.
"I was amazed at
what I didn't know and what I was never taught. If I had this
training 4 years ago, I would be going to play at a different
(better) school."
Should you buy this series as a
soccer coach?
